There was scheduler configuration and scheduler algorithm documentation, including installation. I couldn't find these over either https://wiki.centos.org/ or https://docs.centos.org/en-US/docs/. We moved all docs to only support current versions, and CentOS 5 went EOL a long time ago. We have no plan on publicizing archive content online, as that would give false impression that we still provide updates for centos 5, which isn't the case at all. May I just suggest you to save outdated version offline if you really need it ? and try to get it from archived online versions from (for example) https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/5/
