#111 SIG Review: CentOS Stream Feature Request

This is an annual review of the CentOS Stream Feature Request SIG. Please verify that all the information on the SIG is correct, and determine whether the SIG is active, winding down, or needs to be retired.

A gate for feature requests that are first developed in CentOS Stream from contributors who wish to request these features to be included in future RHEL releases.

@bstinson @amoloney do we still consider this SIG active?

No there has been no output from this SIG in a very long time so it is inactive. My counter-question: is there still a need for this SIG? I feel like the original intent of the SIG is being met in other ways.

I agree. We should probably deactivate/archive this SIG.

Unless somebody wants to pick up this work, I recommend the Board retire this SIG.

Did we actually retire this?

The board agreed to go thru the process of retiring this SIG, along with Config Mgmt, Alt Arch, and Public CI. The process involves some public notification as an opportunity for people to pick up the work. That's on me, and it's been sitting in my todo list.
