        - Do not group images by type. 
        
          LaTeX, Texinfo, and probably other documentation systems
          determine by themselves the correct image format to use based on
          output format you are creating document for. If we group images
          by format the possibilities, for such systems, to choose the
          correct format _automatically_ are reduced considerably.
