3.61.1 Goals

008ee0
008ee0
    54b5a5
  • Organize Anaconda progress translation templates.
  • 54b5a5
  • Organize Anaconda progress translation files in several
  • 54b5a5
languages and major releases of CentOS distribution.

    3.61.2 Description

    008ee0
    54b5a5

Use the following command to produce translation files based:

    54b5a5

    54b5a5

    trunk/Translations/Identity/Themes/Distro/Anaconda/Progress
    54b5a5
    `-- Tpl
    54b5a5
        |-- en
    54b5a5
        | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
        | |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
        | `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
        `-- es
    54b5a5
            |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
            |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
            `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
    54b5a5

In order to produce the slide images in PNG format we need to have the

    54b5a5
translation files first. So we use the following commands to create
    54b5a5
translation files for CentOS 3, 4, and 5 major releases:
    54b5a5

    54b5a5

    centos-art render --translation --filter='3,4,5'
    54b5a5
    54b5a5

The above commands will produce the following translation structure:

    54b5a5

    54b5a5

    trunk/Translations/Identity/Themes/Distro/Anaconda/Progress
    54b5a5
    |-- 3
    54b5a5
    | |-- en
    54b5a5
    | | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
    | | |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
    | | `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
    | `-- es
    54b5a5
    | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
    | |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
    | `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
    |-- 4
    54b5a5
    | |-- en
    54b5a5
    | | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
    | | |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
    | | `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
    | `-- es
    54b5a5
    | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
    | |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
    | `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
    |-- 5
    54b5a5
    | |-- en
    54b5a5
    | | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
    | | |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
    | | `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
    | `-- es
    54b5a5
    | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
    | |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
    | `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
    `-- Tpl
    54b5a5
        |-- en
    54b5a5
        | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
        | |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
        | `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
        `-- es
    54b5a5
            |-- 01-welcome.sed
    54b5a5
            |-- 02-donate.sed
    54b5a5
            `-- 03-yum.sed
    54b5a5
    54b5a5

At this point we have all the translation files we need to produce

    54b5a5
Anaconda progress welcome, donate and yum slides images; in English
    54b5a5
and Spanish languages; for CentOS 3, CentOS 4, and CentOS 5. That is,
    54b5a5
a sum of 18 images around.
    54b5a5

    54b5a5

Now, with translation files in place, let's move to

    54b5a5
    <tt>`trunk/Identity'</tt> structure and render them.
    54b5a5

    008ee0
      54b5a5
    • See section trunk/Identity/Themes/Motifs/Modern/Distro/Anaconda/Progress.

      3.61.3 Usage

      008ee0
      54b5a5

Translation rendering is described in <samp>`trunk/Translations'</samp>

      54b5a5
      documentation entry (see section trunk/Translations).
