3.59.1 Goals

008ee0

    831389
  • Organize Anaconda progress translation templates.
  • 831389
  • Organize Anaconda progress translation files in several
  • 831389
languages and major releases of CentOS distribution.

    3.59.2 Description

    008ee0
    831389

Use the following command to produce translation files based:

    831389

    831389

    trunk/Translations/Identity/Themes/Distro/Anaconda/Progress
    831389
    `-- Tpl
    831389
        |-- en
    831389
        | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
        | |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
        | `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
        `-- es
    831389
            |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
            |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
            `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
    831389

In order to produce the slide images in PNG format we need to have the

    831389
translation files first. So we use the following commands to create
    831389
translation files for CentOS 3, 4, and 5 major releases:
    831389

    831389

    centos-art render --translation --filter='3,4,5'
    831389
    831389

The above commands will produce the following translation structure:

    831389

    831389

    trunk/Translations/Identity/Themes/Distro/Anaconda/Progress
    831389
    |-- 3
    831389
    | |-- en
    831389
    | | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
    | | |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
    | | `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
    | `-- es
    831389
    | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
    | |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
    | `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
    |-- 4
    831389
    | |-- en
    831389
    | | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
    | | |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
    | | `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
    | `-- es
    831389
    | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
    | |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
    | `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
    |-- 5
    831389
    | |-- en
    831389
    | | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
    | | |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
    | | `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
    | `-- es
    831389
    | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
    | |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
    | `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
    `-- Tpl
    831389
        |-- en
    831389
        | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
        | |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
        | `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
        `-- es
    831389
            |-- 01-welcome.sed
    831389
            |-- 02-donate.sed
    831389
            `-- 03-yum.sed
    831389
    831389

At this point we have all the translation files we need to produce

    831389
Anaconda progress welcome, donate and yum slides images; in English
    831389
and Spanish languages; for CentOS 3, CentOS 4, and CentOS 5. That is,
    831389
a sum of 18 images around.
    831389

    831389

Now, with translation files in place, let's move to

    831389
    <tt>`trunk/Identity'</tt> structure and render them.
    831389

    63f275
      831389
    • See section trunk/Identity/Themes/Motifs/Modern/Distro/Anaconda/Progress.

      3.59.3 Usage

      008ee0
      831389

Translation rendering is described in <samp>`trunk/Translations'</samp>

      831389
      documentation entry (see section trunk/Translations).
