3.59.1 Goals

008ee0
63f275
    ec5f63
  • Organize Anaconda progress translation templates.
  • ec5f63
  • Organize Anaconda progress translation files in several
  • ec5f63
languages and major releases of CentOS distribution.

    3.59.2 Description

    008ee0
    ec5f63

Use the following command to produce translation files based:

    ec5f63

    ec5f63

    trunk/Translations/Identity/Themes/Distro/Anaconda/Progress
    ec5f63
    `-- Tpl
    ec5f63
        |-- en
    ec5f63
        | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
        | |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
        | `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
        `-- es
    ec5f63
            |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
            |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
            `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
    ec5f63

In order to produce the slide images in PNG format we need to have the

    ec5f63
translation files first. So we use the following commands to create
    ec5f63
translation files for CentOS 3, 4, and 5 major releases:
    ec5f63

    ec5f63

    centos-art render --translation --filter='3,4,5'
    ec5f63
    ec5f63

The above commands will produce the following translation structure:

    ec5f63

    ec5f63

    trunk/Translations/Identity/Themes/Distro/Anaconda/Progress
    ec5f63
    |-- 3
    ec5f63
    | |-- en
    ec5f63
    | | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
    | | |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
    | | `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
    | `-- es
    ec5f63
    | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
    | |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
    | `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
    |-- 4
    ec5f63
    | |-- en
    ec5f63
    | | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
    | | |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
    | | `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
    | `-- es
    ec5f63
    | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
    | |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
    | `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
    |-- 5
    ec5f63
    | |-- en
    ec5f63
    | | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
    | | |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
    | | `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
    | `-- es
    ec5f63
    | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
    | |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
    | `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
    `-- Tpl
    ec5f63
        |-- en
    ec5f63
        | |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
        | |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
        | `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
        `-- es
    ec5f63
            |-- 01-welcome.sed
    ec5f63
            |-- 02-donate.sed
    ec5f63
            `-- 03-yum.sed
    ec5f63
    ec5f63

At this point we have all the translation files we need to produce

    ec5f63
Anaconda progress welcome, donate and yum slides images; in English
    ec5f63
and Spanish languages; for CentOS 3, CentOS 4, and CentOS 5. That is,
    ec5f63
a sum of 18 images around.
    ec5f63

    ec5f63

Now, with translation files in place, let's move to

    ec5f63
    <tt>`trunk/Identity'</tt> structure and render them.
