3.23.2 Usage

4c79b5
4c79b5

To render translation files use the command:

4c79b5

4c79b5
centos-art render --translation='path/to/dir' --filter='release-number'
4c79b5
4c79b5
4c79b5
<samp>`--translation='path/to/dir''</samp>
4c79b5

Define the translation directory path you want to render using

4c79b5
centos-art script.
4c79b5

4c79b5

If no directory path is provided as <samp>`path/to/dir'</samp>, the

4c79b5
centos-art script uses the absolute path where the command
4c79b5
was invoked from. If the path provided doesn't point to a valid
4c79b5
translation directory the centos-art script outputs a
4c79b5
message and quits script execution.
4c79b5

4c79b5
4c79b5
<samp>`--filter='release-number''</samp>
4c79b5

Define the CentOS distribution release number you want to render

4c79b5
translations for. You can provide one single release number or a list
4c79b5
of numbers separated by commas (e.g., <samp>`--filter='3,4,5,6''</samp>).
4c79b5

4c79b5

If no <samp>`--filter='release-number''</samp> argument is provided, the

4c79b5
centos-art script looks for translation files already
4c79b5
rendered and updates them using translation template as referece.
4c79b5
This configuration may be usefull if all your release-specific
4c79b5
translation directories always have the same information that
4c79b5
translation template does. If this is the case, you only need to
4c79b5
maintain the translation template and use the centos-art
4c79b5
translation script to propagate changes to each release-specific
4c79b5
translation directory.
4c79b5

4c79b5

In contrast, if you are using the centos-art script to

4c79b5
create release-specific translation directories that use translation
4c79b5
template as base to introduce non-reusable translations, you should
4c79b5
take care when executing the centos-art script. Otherwise,
4c79b5
your non-reusable translations may be replaced with those in templates.
